Teens innovation week

Who we Are

Teens Innovation Week is a yearly innovation and learning summit hosted by STEAMLabs Africa, a non-profit organization empowering young Africans through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education and future skills.

Since 2021, TIW has brought together teens aged 12–18, educators, mentors, and changemakers to co-create solutions that address Africa’s most pressing challenges — through hands-on learning, mentorship, and innovation.

Our Goal

To spark creativity, build digital fluency, and empower African teens to become agents of social change using 21st-century tools and technologies — all while aligning their innovations with Agenda 2063 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We guide teens to develop empathetic solutions rooted in real-world problems.

We integrate modern technologies and pedagogies to drive innovation.
Social Impact
We align all our work with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and AU Agenda 2063.
Inclusivity
We ensure participation across different backgrounds, including learners with disabilities.
Co-Creation and Collaboration
We believe in collaboration between learners, educators, and industry mentors to build relevant, sustainable solutions.
